Welcome to Bethany Beach! We at Tidewater Realty, Ltd want you to have the most enjoyable vacation possible and will be most happy to help you in any way to enjoy your stay with us. We ask that you take the time to read the following information after you have settled in. UPON entering the home, please inspect the property and report any and all damages to the office.

1. All equipment in the unit should be in good working order. If you find something is not working properly, please report it to our office immediately. Every effort will be made to eliminate the problem. Icemakers, television sets, VCR's and microwave ovens are not guaranteed and may not be repaired in the event of a malfunction.

2. Please use outside showers after coming off the beach to eliminate sand from collecting drains. Do not hang towels from railings.

3. Refrigerators. Please keep the refrigerator and freezer controls at a medium setting. Turning the settings higher will only aggravate the situation and will kick the refrigerator into a defrost cycle.

4. Garbage Disposals. Please do not put grease, bones or rinds of any kind in the disposal. If the disposal does not turn, and buzzes, please check for small reset button usually on the underside of the unit under the sink, or check the circuit breaker.

5. Air Conditioning. Keep all doors and windows closed while in use. Please do not slide the setting back and forth or set the unit at extreme low temeratures (below 72 degrees). Check circuit breaker in the event of operational difficulties.

6. Circuit Breaker. The circuit breaker is usually located in a closet. In the event of any electrical failures, please check all breakers or fuses.

7. Garbage. Please bag all trash and place in trash cans or dumpsters located outside the house.

8. Locked closets. Many owners maintain a locked closet or utility room for storage of personal possessions. Please respect these locked closets. They are not included in your rental.

9. Grilling. Grilling is prohibited on decks, porches or directly beneath your home. It is normally permitted in areas with concrete, stone or paved surfaces.

10. Telephone. All long distance calls must be charged to your home phone, calling card or placed collect. There will be a $5.00 collection fee charged for any calls appearing on the owner's telephone bill. Any calls to Ocean City, Maryland are long distance calls.

11. Please do not rearrange any furniture.

12. Check-out. CHECK OUT TIME IS 10:00 A.M. Please abide by this time! We ask that you leave the premises neat and orderly. Specifically, to bag and remove all trash and put in appropriate outside container, remove all food from refrigerator/freezer, clean and put away all dishes and leave the premises in "broom clean" condition. Please make sure that you close and lock all windows and doors and return all keys to our office. ALL RENTAL UNITS ARE CHECKED BETWEEN TENANTS FOR GENERAL CLEANLINESS AND DAMAGE.
